Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This privacy notice explains, in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), how the personal data of people who visit alikeyvan.com and use the appointment request form are processed.

2. Personal data we process

• Identity and contact details: your name, phone number and email address entered in the appointment form, and any information you share when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email.
• Appointment details: the subject of the consultation, your preferred date and time, and the page language.
• Health data (special category data): anything you choose to write in the “subject” and “complaint / note” fields. We recommend writing only what is needed to plan your appointment.
• Security data: the IP address and time recorded when the form is submitted, used to prevent misuse, and server logs.
• Cookie and usage data: only if you allow it in your cookie preferences, data on how the site is used and how our ads perform. See the Privacy and Cookie Policy for details.

The psychological tests on this site run entirely in your browser; your answers and results are never sent to us or stored.

3. Purposes

• to receive your appointment request, contact you, plan your appointment and carry out an initial assessment where needed,
• to provide medical diagnosis and treatment services,
• to keep the site and the form secure and prevent spam,
• if you consent, to measure site usage and evaluate the performance of our ads,
• to comply with legal obligations and requests from competent authorities.

4. Collection method and legal bases

Your personal data are collected electronically, partly by automated means, through the appointment form, email, phone, WhatsApp and cookies on the site.

• Identity, contact and appointment data are processed because this is directly necessary for establishing or performing a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c) and on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 5/2-f).
• Health data are processed for the purposes of medical diagnosis, treatment and care by a physician bound by professional secrecy (KVKK Art. 6/3).
• Security data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 5/2-f) and legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç).
• Data obtained through analytics and advertising cookies are processed only with your explicit consent (Art. 5/1). You can withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the site.

5. Transfers

Strictly for the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with:

• our hosting and email service providers (appointment requests are sent by email and stored in the site’s admin panel),
• if you consent, Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd., which provide our analytics and ad measurement services (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads),
• competent public authorities where legally required.

Data processed through Google services may be handled on servers outside Türkiye; such transfers are carried out in line with Article 9 of the KVKK. Your health data are never shared with analytics or advertising services.

6. Retention

Requests that do not lead to an appointment are deleted within a reasonable period after the request is concluded. Records relating to treatment are kept for the periods required by health legislation. Data whose retention period has expired are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK

You have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed; to request information if they are; to learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data are transferred; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request deletion or destruction under Article 7; to request that third parties be notified of these actions; to object to outcomes against you resulting exclusively from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

8. How to apply

You can send requests regarding your rights in writing to the address above, with information that allows us to verify your identity, or by email to info@alikeyvan.com. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
